Spring Operated Safety Valve India

Darshan Valves and Controls is top most prominent manufacturer and supplier of Spring Operated Safety Valve in Ahmedabad, india. We take great pride in designing and producing premium spring-operated safety valves that promote operational effectiveness and industrial safety. Our valves are renowned for their precise engineering, consistency, and suitability for a wide range of uses.

A Spring Operated Safety Valve (SOSV) is a crucial safety device used in various industries to protect equipment, vessels, and systems from excessive pressure buildup. It's a type of pressure relief valve that automatically opens when the pressure inside a system exceeds a predetermined level, thereby releasing excess pressure and preventing potential damage or catastrophic failure.

Our valves are meticulously designed and manufactured using state-of-the-art technology and stringent quality control measures. This ensures precision, reliability, and consistent performance even in the most demanding environments. Our Spring Operated Safety Valves are critical in industries where pressure regulation is vital, such as oil and gas, chemical processing, power generation, pharmaceuticals, and more. They play a pivotal role in maintaining operational safety by preventing overpressure situations that could lead to equipment damage, explosions, or other hazardous incidents.

Working principle Spring Operated Safety Valve

  • Spring Force: The heart of the SOSV is the spring mechanism. The spring is calibrated to exert a specific force against the valve's closing mechanism (such as a disc or plug), effectively keeping it sealed shut under normal operating conditions. This force opposes the pressure of the fluid or gas within the system.
  • Set Pressure: The spring's tension is adjusted to a predetermined pressure level known as the set pressure. This is the pressure at which the valve is designed to open and begin relieving pressure from the system.
  • Build-Up of Pressure: The system's internal pressure gradually reaches a point where it is greater than the force applied by the spring. When the pressure is higher than the valve's fixed pressure, this happens.
  • Valve Opening: When the pressure surpasses the set pressure, the force exerted by the fluid or gas on the valve's sealing mechanism exceeds the opposing force of the spring. As a result, the valve opens, allowing the fluid or gas to escape from the system.
  • Pressure Relief: When the valve is open, extra fluid or gas is let out of the system, which releases the buildup of pressure. By doing this, the system is kept from experiencing dangerously high pressures that could cause malfunctions or damage to the equipment.
  • Return to Normal Operation: With the valve closed, the system returns to its normal operating conditions until pressure builds up again, repeating the cycle as necessary to maintain pressure within safe limits.
